NEWS CENTER - 34 parties and organisations in North and East Syria called for an end to the clashes in Damascus countryside and said, "eapons bring nothing but destruction and bloodshed."

34 parties and organisations in North and East Syria issued a joint statement on the clashes in Sahnaya and Jaremana regions in Damascus countryside. In the statement, it was stated that the attempt to resolve the contradictions between the Syrian peoples with weapons and violence in a sensitive process is shameful and means serving the enemies of the Syrian peoples and added: "Weapons bring nothing but destruction and bloodshed. Resorting to weapons closes the doors of dialogue and alliance, which is the only way to solve problems and contradictions."

The statement also called on political, social and religious organisations to fulfil their national and moral duties and take action to prevent the war.

CALL TO THE PARTIES

In the statement, the following call was made to all parties: "The war must end, the language of dialogue must prevail in line with national interests and unity, and the language of revenge and sectarian and ethnic provocations must be avoided. Let us work to stop the bloodshed and build a country of peace, justice and equality."
