MÊRDÎN - Peace Mother Latife Dağ, who had been suffering from health problems for a long time, passed away in Nisêbîn.
 
Peace Mother Latife Dağ, passed away at 77 in Nisêbin district of Mêrdîn (Mardin). Latife Dağ had health problems due to her advancing age for a long time. She lost her life in the hospital where she was taken after she collapsed in the morning. Latife Dağ's body was buried in Hecace Cemetery. 
 
Latife Dağ's son Eşref Dağ was killed in a clash in Erzirom (Erzurum) in 1997. Latife Dağ had been actively involved in the Peace Mothers' Assembly for many years and she had been unable to participate in the organisation for some time due to her advanced age.
