NEWS CENTER - The Ministry of Interior of Ukraine announced that Russia attacked Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles during the night, and at least 4 people lost their lives.
Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko announced on his virtual media account that residential areas, hospitals and sports infrastructure were hit and at least four people lost their lives. Klymenko stated that a house in the worst-hit Shevchenkivskyi district was destroyed and some people were trapped under the rubble.
The head of the region, Mykola Kalashnyk, said that a woman was killed and 2 people were injured in the Russian airstrike in the Kiev region. Ukrainian Emergency Situations Service DSNS announced that 13 people, including 2 children and a pregnant woman, were injured in Kiev. Local authorities also stated that the entrance of one of the city's underground metro stations was also damaged in the attack and many people living in the capital spent the night in these stations.
Russian authorities have not yet made a statement on the attacks.
