MUŞ - "Women, Nature and Culture Festival" continues on its second day with various activities in Gimgim (Varto) district of Mûş (Muş).

 

Festival started with the slogan "Free women, democratic society with nature and culture" continues. Women came together in the morning and organised nature walks and sports activities.

 

Within the scope of the festival, a Jineology Workshop, various sports activities and music concerts will be organised throughout the day. In the activities where women meet with nature, experiences on the construction of a free life are shared.

 

Rojda Yıldız, member of the Editorial Board of Jineology Magazine, made a presentation titled "Women and Science" at the Jineology Workshop. In the presentation, which took the form of a conversation, the definition and social perception of science was discussed. Rojda Yıldız stated that it is necessary to go beyond the power-centred definitions of science and drew attention to the importance of building an alternative understanding of science from a woman perspective. The workshop ended after the presentations.

 

The festival continues with a volleyball tournament and concerts.
